Hi, I’m Skye Chrystal and I love being an artist and living life as slow and as creatively as possible. I spend most of my time staying creative as a mixed media artist. Playing with my creativity and setting myself free with painting and drawing from what is in my mind and writing too. My desk and my studio space is my heart space. Somewhere that feels like home and what drives me to creativity. I am so passionately driven with the pursuits I take that I honestly can say that it is how I fill my cup.

I am an illustrator and painter for the love of composition and colour. A fibre artist in training for the love of styling and sustainable wearable art pieces, who loves to outfit repeat because what is better than dressing yourself with something that makes you feel good and colourful? A photographer for the love of seeing in 35mm film, where I started, nothing is more exciting than cracking open a new roll of film and having 36 moments you want to keep.

And many other adventures are being had in my ideas space from videos to make and prints to be printed. I do this because it fill my soul with glee. I adore the creative process always, apart from the iffy bits that make me question everything and then after I have persevered, I finally finish something I poured my soul into and then those iffy bits turn into something special that I have learned from the lessons in creativity that help the creativity flow. I am here to create and be a creative collaborator. Perhaps with the medium I choose or with other creatives too. But overall I’m here for the love if it.
